My role

Senior Product Designer · Content team · UX research, user testing and web experience design

01

The brief

I joined the Nespresso content team for ten months, working across global web experiences. A key focus was improving the Difference page so customers could understand what makes Nespresso distinctive and find the information most relevant to them.

02

The challenges

The experience needed to work across multiple markets while bringing together a large amount of content about coffee, machines, taste, recipes and sustainability.

03

User research and testing

I planned and ran user testing to understand what people expected from the page, which messages were clear, and where the experience created friction. The research helped the team prioritise content and refine the structure.

Takeaways from user testing

Testing highlighted confusion in some of the copy and showed that people wanted clearer comparisons between machines, more guidance around taste, and simpler routes into recipes and capsules.

Design solution

The final direction reorganised the content around clearer customer questions, with more purposeful interactions and a stronger visual hierarchy across markets.
